PATIENCE

In addition to more love in the world, I believe we need more patience. So many people seem to hurry and rush where they are going and not be concerned about safety for themselves or others.

You're at a traffic light. The light turns green and before you can put your foot on the gas someone is beeping their horn. You stop at a stop sign and look in all directions. Once again, before you can put your foot on the gas someone is beeping their horn. No PATIENCE.

I wasn't always a patient driver, but I am now. I realize that people drive through red lights and run stop signs. I look an extra time before I proceed. The way I think about this is that my life and the life of others depend on the way I drive.

Dating myself, years and years ago, there was a driving commercial that said: Watch out for the other guy. True back then and true now.

No PATIENCE.
