ASK: 1 John 5:14,15(NIV) says This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us---whatever we ask---we know that we have what we asked of him.

In the Lord's Prayer, it says" thy will be done."When we pray and ask God for something, thy will be done should be in our prayer. We should pray to God, not just asking for things, but thanking Him for all he's done for us, prayers of thanksgiving, praise, worship, gratefulness and anything and anyone connected to our lives (pg. 40 in my book, Traveling With God, has one of my testimonies).

BELIEVE: Romans 10:9,10(NIV) says If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Being a child of God means acknowledging God as my Creator, Jesus as my Savior and having faith and hope. The Holy Spirit lives in me.

CAREFUL: As a child of God, I must be aware of what I do, say, think and where I go at all times. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Proverbs 4:26 (NIV) says Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.

DEPEND: What does it mean to depend on God? In everything that I do, I depend on God. I lean on God, I look to God to help me and see me through life. Lamrentations 3:25 (NLT) says The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him.

ENCOURAGE: 1 Thessalonians 5:11(NLT) says So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

I like people to say positive things to me first and then negative things second. It should be done in a kind voice and not yelling or screaming. When you scream or yell at me, I stop listening and I'm ending the conversation. Bye. I encourage people daily with a smile, a joke, statements like I pray that you have a wonderfully blessed day, enjoy your day, everything will work out fine, pray and believe and God bless you.
